When there is a stunning view, some establishments may get a bit lax in the quality of food. Not this one though. One can tell that they put thoughts and good effort in equaling the view with culinary value. We were a party of 7, and lucky enough to get a table just the day of. I wanted to try a Swiss specialty, and broke my vegetarian diet by ordering a dish of river perch with shaved almonds. It was quite tender and flavorful - note "flavorful" is usually not associated with Swiss cuisine :-). My fellow diners, esp. the carnivores, reported similar satisfaction with their choices, including sausage, ham and beef stroganoff. The summer salad is a rainbow of fresh veggies, feasting both stomach and eye. We also each ordered a scoop of ice-cream. My scoop of apricot tasted like a silky, frozen puree of fresh, ripe apricots - truly amazing!
